Visceral Manipulation
Often used as an effective complement to other forms of medicine and bodywork, Visceral Manipulation focuses on the interrelationship of the internal organs to the body as a whole. When viscera, the soft internal organs of the body are not functioning as well they can because of musculoskeletal pain (known as viscerosomatic pain). Practitioners follow a simple set of gentle procedures to free restrictions of the organs, thereby increasing health and function of the organs, and decreasing pain. In addition to promoting the health of all internal organs and balancing the whole body, visceral work may facilitate emotional and physical release.
